Abra, Dan, Higgs
Abra shook her head. "You're so wrong. I hurt those who attacked others. Even if they hadn't come after me, I still would have attacked them." She'd known she would fight the True Knot before they'd come after her.
"My friends? Richie never intended to fight you. He never even wanted to get near you." Richie was tougher than Higgs knew. He had fought Pennywise. But he didn't have Abra's temper; he didn't want to get caught up in another fight here. He'd been completely innocent. Just the thought of it was causing her anger to bubble up, past her defenses. "Most of the people here are too nice. They'd have given you the clothes of their backs if you asked. If there's a battle, it's on you. Your fault."
Abra chuckled again, this time low and mean, not fitting with a girl her age and echoing around the beach. "If I wanted to hurt you, you'd be hurt. You should just leave."
