Cuddy nodded as Steve spoke and opened her opened medical kit, retrieving a few supplies so she'd be ready one they got him out. "And this is Johnn Redel." She added after Steve introduced himself. Hopefully, it would give their patient a boost of confidence to know their names, though given the current replacement situation...She couldn't let herself dwell on that, or even the massive crater, with a patient to treat.
"Without seeing what happened, it's hard to answer. Human history does have example of people surviving extreme situations. On this station, there's also the existence of magic and other supernatural abilities." Cuddy answered as best she could. She had even seen a couple cases herself, bizarre situations brought to her hospital for House to treat and island miracles. "There is also the possibility that Erandur is not human or fully human." There was no judgement in her voice; she known and been friends with many non-humans during her time on the island and station.
Cuddy took as good a look as she could from where she was standing, to judge the amount of blood, the way her patient's chest rose and fell, the colour of his skin, his pupil size. It would be more clear when he was close by. "Erandur, can you tell me if you lost consciousness at all?"
