The knight listened to her. There was a pain present in her voice that did concern him, as did the news. On one hand, he had been able to save Sif and for that he was thankful, but he had died? Lost to the Abyss perhaps? Had Manus killed him? Or had he survived? Did it matter? The Abyss could not be stopped and in the end, Lord Gwyn had sacrificed himself to the flame. Was it worthwhile? It wasn't as if the timeless age could return or the everlasting dragons, but the abyss? The darkness? That was the truth threat... And Artorias knew that the darkness was so much more terrifying than humanity ever was. If only he had the chance to report to Lord Gwyn...
