Walking beside Artorias was always a bit of a test. With his much longer legs, he could take much longer strides and cross a room in half the time it took her, but that didn't always mean he did. They'd walked together often enough that he would slow down for her and she would find a way to match his speed in a way that didn't look comical. She had a reputation for being incredibly graceful and it seemed the only thing to ever come close to challenging that grace was walking with him.
She didn't mind. She never minded. She would have dealt with a lot worse just to walk at his side for even the shortest of times.
"It is only right that you pledge to serve Lady Frigga in return for her kindness." Ciaran nodded to herself, only speaking once she'd truly thought it over. It wasn't as if he could serve Gwyn any longer, better that he be sworn to a new lord in the land of the living. As they walked together she slipped off the rest of her helmet, carrying it under her arm. "Different worlds, you say? And not just those like us? I feel as if I can smell the scent of humanity even though it is faint."
