Tilting his head slightly to the side, Blank could see the confusion on the massive warrior's face.
"My wife is a spirit. In my own world, I have a friend who is an insanely powerful reality bender. Us having a child was a wedding gift." He clarified solemnly. "It took too much from not only her, but myself and Loki to deliver our son. She's been gone for a day or two now." Blank honestly didn't know what day it was.
A small smile returned to his face when Artorias sat down, willing to hear more music. Blank hadn't expected an audience, but was glad for the company. With a widened smile, Blank waved lightly to Sif as he slowly turned around to sit down on the bench once again.
"Reeve. His name is Reeve." Blank spoke politely, turning his head to face Artorias. "He is upstairs in his nursery. Shannon is taking care of him right now." And doing a damn fine job. "I'd like to think she understands where I am at mentally right now." It was this or go to one of Byrn's bars and get wasted beyond belief, and he would never do that to Reeve.
As he turned his head back toward the piano, he began to play "Moonlight Sonata." Hoping this wouldn't be too sad of a song for either of them. If it was... There was always "Long Tall Sally."
