It was a relief to have heard his brother's voice. The god hated to admit it but he had missed his annoying older sibling. From his inquiries one thing had been clear, a) his daughter did not have any patience and b) Thor had been taken somewhere between his time on Sakaar and the journey back to Asgard. Loki contemplated whether he could get around telling him about the time that lay ahead. He would prefer not to dive into the story of sorrow and his own humiliation. Mostly the last part. He very much wanted to avoid the last part.
The god put his phone aside and summoned the mind and space stone. Katherine looked up at him from where she sat, legs brought up onto the couch, answering her uncle's messages.
"Are you going to get him?" she asked hopefully. Loki did not answer. Instead, he focused his energies through the stones and located Thor's mind. He could find that ego anywhere. In a split second Thor was brought into their apartment. One second away from them, the next standing in their main living-room. As usually, it was filled with light and a modern look. A few couches were gathered around a low stone table in the middle of the room. A fireplace was lit in the back of the room and its light was dancing on the walls in the back. The second Thor appeared Katherine's posture changed. There was a massive smile on her face and her father knew that she had to hold herself back from running towards her uncle. Loki, however, had a much more restrained approach to the situation. He made sure to vanish the stones before he turned to the god of thunder with a casual smile on his face.
"Hello, brother."
