Miguel looked over at the kid who'd spoken, and smirked. "I'd be forced to assume that you're either amazingly bored because you've finished everything I've assigned, in which case you'd end up getting more than enough extra work to make sure you won't have time to be bored for the next day or three," he replied, "or you're struggling with the work and don't quite know how to let me or Lyla know, so you're acting out. If that's the case, let one of us know anyway so we'll know to help you."
Then he looked round at everyone else in the class. "That goes for everyone. We're here to teach you, not make sure you fail or make you hate biology. If something doesn't make sense or you're not sure, just tell us," he said, and then grinned. "I might have fangs, but I won't bite, I promise."
