Who: Obi-Wan and ???
When: Just after this, 14th February
What: Another happy landing! (O.o)
Where: The landing bay that Shep directed him towards
Ben had been returning from an attempted rescue mission, rumors of a pair of Jedi who had survived Order 66 and the Purge trapped on a mid-rim planet that was very fond of the new Emperor, but either they had managed to escape or they had never been there in the first place. Either way, Ben had been lucky to get off-planet. Or so he'd thought. As he was leaving the system, he got hit by some sort of EMP weapon that had been systematically killing every single circuit on his ship. The first few blasts killed his shields and then his weapons had failed.
He'd then begun evasive maneuvers, expecting at least a few other ships to come after him now that he was apparently helpless, but there had been nothing. And he soon learned why, as his hyperspace and navigation capabilities were the next to go. Engines were next, followed by life support. He was drifting through space, at a pretty high speed to be fair, with no shields, no controls and no oxygen other than what was left in the ship itself. And it was getting colder and colder. He couldn't use the Force to steer the Dragon to a nearby planet, and none of his emergency repairs were doing anything. He was going to die from smashing into something or from the cold. Kriff. His ship was little more than a lump of high-speed space junk now.
And then he became aware of something that he was more than certain had not been there a few seconds ago.
He did not seem to be in the same area of space. He would have noticed the massive gas giant. He was a Jedi, after all, and they tended to be observant more often than not. And there was... a space station? He could sense life forms on it, even from this distance. He scrambled as best he could from where he had been trying to get the engines back online, and checked the comms. Thank the Force, it was still just about working. He managed to send out his distress call, and sent a prayer to all the Force gods when someone replied.
Now, he had somewhere to aim towards. Now he had a landing bay to find. No problem, right?
He quickly set a course in his mind and began nudging his dead ship in the right direction. It was still hurtling through space, but at least it had a destination. The cold was getting to him now, since he was using all of his abilities with the Force to steer the Dragon, and not even sparing a sliver of it to maintain his core temperature. He sat in the pilot's seat, and did his best to aim for the landing bay. He almost made it, too. But one of the gun cannons clipped the edge of the landing bay and the ship tumbled into the cleared area and slammed into the far wall, now upside down.
Ben knew nothing of this. A combination of the cold of space and smacking his head off the controls meant that he was unconscious in his seat and held in place by his seat-belt, limbs dangling down towards the ground.
