"You are forgiven, this time." Marian couldn't resist teasing him for too long. Her smile only softened just a little. "Of course I did, I said I would. I saw you get wheeled back and forth. And tried to do some sewing inbetween, but failed miserably." She didn't mind admitting to him.
"Oh, now I'm curious just how you imagined me." She shifted so that she was facing him. Because sitting side by side made it impossible to take him in properly and the temptation to lean in closer was too strong. "And now that you can see things as they are, are they as bad as you imagined them to be?" She gave a pointed glance to the arm with the missing hand. Of course she was not repulsed by it. She had not ever been. It was not gruesome to her. His was probably removed far cleaner than any other she'd ever seen.
