Who? Dan and Henry Where? Medbay When? 28th, Afternoon What? Dan is sore :( Open? to other medical types?
The fight had probably been inevitable. Dan had gone through the door with his dad, and met his mom and his other self. Seeing Wendy again after twenty-two years had been amazing and emotional and fantastic. However, for all the differences in their lives, Dan and Danny had been far too similar, and they did not get on. Both of them had horrendous tempers and things had come to boiling point a couple of days ago. It was pointless pointing out which one of them had thrown the first punch, or who had been the better fighter or anything like that. It had finished when Danny had screamed in Dan's head using the Shining, and Dan had blacked out. He'd woken up sprawled on Jack's kitchen floor, one eye swollen shut, a split lip and his left wrist throbbing and the hand pretty much useless. Danny was nowhere to be seen, and Dan had no intentions of going after him. He'd tidied up Jack's kitchen as best he could, and then headed back to the station to try and sleep it off.
He'd woke up this morning, and been able to open his eye a little bit. His wrist was still pretty fucked, though, painful and still a bit swollen with bruising as dark as the mess around his eye. He didn't know if it was just a bad sprain or if he'd broken something, but in all his years as an orderly, it had been drilled into him that if a patient had hurt their wrist and he wasn't sure about the injury, he was to treat it as a fracture. And that meant x-rays.
He headed down to the Medbay when Henry replied to him, his sore arm held in close to his chest as he walked there, and stepped inside when the doors opened for him. He didn't bother sitting in one of the chairs in the empty waiting area, heading automatically for Henry's office. Then he knocked on the door and waited.
