Darcy couldn't help but smile at his little sister's assessment of his fiance. "Yes, she is very pretty indeed, and wonderfully nice as well," he agreed with her. His own expression turned equally serious.

"Well, I happen to know for a fact that there is very little Miss Ashley should like more than to play tea parties. Especially with you, you have so many fine tea sets, and always such pleasant guests we have with us," he reminded her. "But you know, Miss Ashley comes all the way from America. You're going to have to use your very fine manners to teach her just how to behave at an English tea party. Oh! It can be practice for when mama and daddy come back, can't it?"
