"I didn't think you made people die." Azrael said softly. She'd seen it others, even in herself when she had her blades. She didn't see it in him. He was not a killer. Hospitals and hospices was strange places for someone to hang out if they weren't looking for the dying. "It's kind of you to help them. What do you mean by your shine? Your inner light? God's glory shining on you, something like that?" It would be simpler if he was similar to an angel. There could actually be someone on this station that she could understand, other than her brother.
She gave Dan a smile, one that had a hint of teasing in it - the same smile she might give to her siblings. "That was a question. You can ask another one."
