Miguel had been to collect the samples Jake had brought back from Cuba, and had taken the opportunity to collect Jake's genetic samples at the same time. That had led into a discussion about Jake's adopted home world and the Avatar bodies and what had originally been supposed to be a five-minute visit was suddenly over an hour long.
He quickly made his way to the lab, carrying all the samples in one big box. There were probably going to be a few duplicates given how much Rachel had provided and what Sarah and himself had brought back, but that didn't bother him in the slightest. More data meant more accurate results, right?
"Sorry, sorry, I got talking to your uncle about Avatars and Pandora, and a couple of minutes almost turned into a couple of hours," he said as he walked into the lab and over to his workstation. He put the box down on the bench and then noticed Sarah had company. "Hi," he said, and walked over to shake hands with the guy, "I'm Miguel."
