Who: Spidermen (Peter and Miguel)
What: SCIENCE (holoprojectors etc) and possible Feels
Where: Pete's Apartment
When: Saturday morning, 30th June (Morning after these texts.)
Miguel headed round to Peter's apartment, carrying a small bag of baked goods in one hand and a holoprojector in the other. It seemed a lot easier for him to go round there when all he needed was the little holoprojector and his watch, while he didn't know what equipment Peter would need.
"I hope he likes my baking," Lyla said, not bothering to manifest while Miguel was walking.
"Why wouldn't he like your baking? The only time it's ever gone wrong before was when the oven malfunctioned and that was hardly your fault," Miguel pointed out, hoping to reassure his AI before they reached their destination.
"That is true, but this is still a new recipe."
"You've tried new recipes before and they've been good," he said, before smiling very slightly. "Didn't I eat one of your croissants?"
"Yes, bu-"
"Did I say it was nice or horrible?"
"You said it was good, and your biometrics did not indicate that you were telling a lie."
"Because I wasn't. If he doesn't like croissants, it won't be because of these, okay? It'll be because he doesn't like any croissants." Miguel gave a slight nod as he finished speaking, as if his point was the final say on something he didn't think needed to be discussed anyway. But Lyla said nothing, which was very unlike her.
"Lyla? Is something bothering you?" Miguel frowned as he asked. Lyla was never usually so unsure about things.
"No, I am fine. I ran a diagnostic last night. All is as it should be."
"Okay, good. Do you want to manifest now? We're at Peter's," he said, and knocked on the door just as Lyla appeared beside his wrist.
