Though not good with seriousness or sharing his own emotions, Rohan thought he was pretty good at reading others. He was glad to give Bryn the attention she needed--deserved, no less.
"I'm sorry," he said with empathy. Being thrust backward in time to a point well before your kingdom had even become established, before your parents' were conceived...it was a lot to lose, too. He could understand someone walking out without a word, whether you knew them or not. It was hard.
"I thought you were going to say something else. My mouth went a little dry!" Rohan joked as he reached out to take her leg and put it on his scaly lap, massaging the calf down to the ankle and foot.
"You think he had better hair than me? I'm sad now."
