A wry chuckle, Rohan turned and sat with his back to the door. His head tilt comfortably, eyes closing as he settled on the floor, his tail bent up where a knee might have gone on that long, strong frame. "I've never seen such cruelty...this is new for me and...heartbreaking, honestly." He said with an obvious twinge of sadness.
The island he had come from had been joyful, filled with life and youth and happiness. Tricks were not played to the harm of anyone and certainly never something like this. This felt like a devastating blow to the optimism that kept Rohan alive like the air they breathed.
"A portal?" he perked at that. "We should try! I'll try anything. Micha says there's salt water around here, so maybe the tunnels are. I think this water here is from a pipe or something...I don't know. Not salt. It's very thin and tastes bad. Too much fluoride." Rohan chuckled to himself, now, before turning and pressing a hand to the door. It was a shame he could not see his beautiful princess' face, his rescuer. He would have to repair her when they were free.
"What can I do for you from here? How can I help?"
