Izzy hadn't gone back to bed yet after a trip to the bathroom (one of the many joys of pregnancy, amplified by triplets) when she heard her granddaughter's screams. She'd been worried about her namesake ever since the younger Izzy had returned to the island, but it was hard to give the girl her undivided attention in the busy household.
She rushed into her granddaughter's bedroom and flipped on the lights, looking for the little girl. "Izzy?"
