Jake sat up in a tree near the river, his feet and tail dangling down as he listened to Rhysand. It was interesting to sit back and let others run the show, now that he had experience as Olo'eyktan, so he was watching how Rhysand gave his talk as much as listening to what was said.
He listened with concern to Cris trying to talk - he'd have to catch up with him later - and then dropped down out of the tree to wait for his turn to speak.
"Oel ngati kameie, ma ayeylan. First, I'm going to offer up the Weyr as well. It's a volcano, so it's heated, and there's a fresh water supply. Plus there's loads of caves and space in it. It could hold everyone that's here, easily. The castle might be comfier, and I personally prefer the tree option, but if it's needed, the Weyr is available.
Second... I'm told I was here for years, that I had friends here, good friends. But I don't remember. I arrived here, what, two months ago? And this was all new to me. My memories were taken; I've seen photographs of Tommy's wedding, been told about drinking Mitchell's bar nearly dry of tequila and, I dunno, something about blue stuff? Whatever that is. Apparently I was a pony? I've had to relearn who my friends and my family are, because He decided that I don't get to have my memories. So, yeah, I'm for fighting. I want to know who everyone is again."
