Bobby didn't really care if it was cold out, he liked sitting in the park. He'd taken a towel to dry off one of the benches and then put a blanket over it so that his butt wouldn't get cold. He'd done this a lot growing up. JT always made fun of him for it, but it never bothered him. He just loved sitting in the park. He'd always loved the cold and he wasn't sure why. Of course he was bundled up but that was more to keep his mom from worrying than because he actually wanted to stay warm. She hadn't gotten to the nagging stage yet, but then she was only used to having babies around. She still had quite a few years before she would be the mom he was used to. Bobby had taken his guitar with him to the park. Sometimes he played it, sometimes he just sat and watched the snow. The cold wasn't all that great for the instrument, but it wasn't his good one. That one stayed in temperature controlled environments and got treated like it was the royal jewels or something. Today he felt like playing, though. He never really had a song in mind when he took his guitar out while in the park. He just started absentmindedly strumming the strings, humming along occasionally. Lost in his own little world. |
