Amy took the clock and wrapped it around herself. "Thank you." She didn't mind being nude but even on the warmest summer night, the air felt cold when she went from furry to human.
"I get that." Amy commented. On any other day, she would have thought the island gave more freedom than most places she'd visited through the doors. Not this day. When people in her life vanished and she had no way to chase after them, the island felt very confining. "I mean, I get the feeling of being trapped. I don't ride." She supposed that was one more thing she should have asked her father to teach her, when she had the chance. She nodded. "I don't hunt either. I might if we're ever stuck with no doors, but even then, I'd probably stick to my garden."
