Heather was spending her time, when she wasn't helping fix the speeder-which was beyond awesome, catching up to music that had happened between the time she'd been in Ridgeway and this place. There had been a lot that she'd missed. And currently she was loving Lady Gaga. She would have made great fodder for her lounge act.
She'd also made a nightly thing to venture to the pub, since it became increasingly obvious that Tony, and Robin, wouldn't be joining her in this new place. It reminded her of a mix between Ridgeway and Jericho. A good mix. Sadly most nights the place was empty.
Singing her way to the pub, she took a chance that maybe it was empty again tonight, and busted through the door, as the track changed from Judas, to The Edge of Glory.
"There ain't no reason you and me should be alone Tonight yeah baby, tonight yeah baby But I got a reason that you-hoo should take me home tonight I need a man that makes it right when it's so wrong Tonight yeah baby, tonight yeah baby Right on the limit's where we know we both belong tonight..."
It was right about then that she noticed that there was someone else in the room. She wasn't alone. Call it a sixth sense. The awkward moment sense.
She pried her lashes open, a blush covering every inch that wasn't covered by the simple band teeshirt, jeans, and bright red Chuck Taylors. The shoes probably came pretty close to matching the color of her skin, when she faltered.
"Oops!" She plucked the earbuds out, and offered her best awkward grin. "Sorry to disturb, I took a chance for an awkward moment and totally won the cash prize."
