Elli screeched a little, waving her arm out, marvelling at how the chain wiggled alongside it, glinting in the sun just a little bit. She was bright eyed and fussed a little as she couldn't see her Mama, crazing her head around to see if she could see Sookie.
"S'okay Elli-belly. I'm here. Big mean Bo ain't gonna hurt you, I promise," she said with a smile, leaning forwards and taking Elli's tiny hand with her finger to remind her that she was safe. "Sullys all think of me as Aunt Sook no matter what age they are so Elli and Adele are cousins to them, really. I ain't worried about them." She smiled at Elli, who beamed brightly back at her mother.
