Luke Skywalker. Well that explained the familiarity. "Skywalker. Ha! That explains it. Brilliant! One of the things I do like about this place is getting to meet people even I wouldn't normally get the opportunity to." He grinned widely. He'd always liked 'Star Wars'.
"Well.." He drew the word out in his normal fashion, still smiling. "It's always best to expect the unexpected and the unpredictable otherwise life would be very dull. That and you wouldn't want to be caught unawares. That's never fun."
The Doctor's dark eyes flicked around their immediate surroundings. "Perhaps. It's a large city though and some people like to keep to themselves, while others frequent the same areas. It's busier by the apartment blocks, the diner and the pub. But in general, yes it can be quiet. There's not a huge population of people here, a small community really. Which I'm glad of from a purely personal mental sanity and stability point of view." He was pretty sure that if there was a fully populated city of this size of individuals from all manner of timelines, worlds and realities here, his mind and time-sense would be screaming with the pain and 'wrongness' of it all.
