Who: Gizmo and (Open to anyone) Where: The library Rating: PG
Noah had finally pulled himself out of his room, though it wasn't entirely willingly. Dean had been a little agitated, rustling car magazines back and forth and glancing over at Noah like he was intruding on something just by being there, and while Noah might be slower on the uptake than most people he wasn't stupid. He took the hint and pulled on his shoes and sunglasses, heading out of the room to find somewhere to be out of the way.
The library seemed like a good bet, even though he and Shock had never found those secret passageways he was so sure existed. Instead he walked among the aisles of books quietly, the hush of the room itself soothing. He hated loud sounds unless it was music-related, and this place could be total chaos if you let yourself hear all of the conversations and background noise that went on.
Dressed in hugely baggy black cargo shorts and sneakers, a plain black t-shirt and black-out sunglasses that almost made him look blind, Noah looked unremarkable if you ignored the obvious greasy state of his hair. He looked around for the librarian but didn't see him right off the bat, so he wandered over to the children's section. It had seemed odd to him that they even had a children's section here, as he'd seen no little kids, but he was grateful since these were just the reading level he was currently at. He picked up one of the books and flipped through it, making a neutral expression after a moment and keeping it in his hand. He would find a table, out of everyone's hair, and curl up to work on his reading.
When he turned the aisle to find his favorite spot, a small table set in the back corner of the library and a little more shadowy than the others, he wasn't expecting to see someone already sitting there.
"Oh!" left his mouth in a startled little noise, and then he recovered, obviously a little uncomfortable and spaced out. "Sorry. Hi. I didn't mean to... I'll find somewhere else to sit."
