It had seemed to Faith that the doctor was playing favorites, but she just rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She didn't hold stock in anyone's promises. No one had ever kept one made to her, and she had no reason to believe someone would now. And when she said that no one would hurt her, Faith glanced away. She was the one they should be afraid of, not the other way around.
"I guess." She replied, eying the doctor and the hand for a moment. It wasn't as though the tiny blond could do anything to her, so she reached out and took her hand, shaking it. "'Kay."
