Faith frowned a little. "I did. I put a note up on the board and he's the only one who answered saying he had any." So now Faith wasn't sure about this doctor. She seemed to want to help, but she hadn't been there when Faith needed something. Just like everyone else.
People were all the same.
"Do you feel good?" Faith blinked in confusion at the question, and the ones that followed. "I am strong. Nothin' can stop me. Even a knife in the stomach didn't stop me." She didn't answer the other questions because she didn't like her own answers. This was too close to part of the reason why she really didn't want to be put in Solitary again. She didn't want to be alone with herself and what she'd done, not again.
At her next words, Faith took her hands out of the pockets and crossed her arms over herself. She was confused, and she didn't like that. "Everyone always betrays everyone. I've taken that stupid leap before, and paid for it every time." She shook her head, taking a small step back. "I aint doin' it again."
