Weetzie finished her run, breathing hard through flaring nostrils. Two miles at that pace really kicked her ass, but she was trying to stay in shape; depression and a love of cooking were doing her in, as proven by the softening of her midsection. Spencer swore he loved it, that her curves were 'feminine', but on her petite little frame even five pounds could look like fifteen and she was determined to make herself look better. Looking better meant feeling better, and if she could squeeze her hips back into her vintage Chanel skirt anytime soon, maybe she'd slack off on the workouts.
She headed for the small water fountain, bowing her head to take a swallow of the (gross!) tepid water. Grimacing as she straightened up, wiping her lips with the back of one hand, she used her towel to blot the sweat from her brow, then walked back to where she'd left her mat. Unrolling it, Weetzie toed off her sneakers and socks, flexing her bare feet for a moment before shedding her loose t-shirt. Beneath it was a Spandex camisole that matched her capri-length workout pants, all black of course. The little blonde lowered herself onto the mat, stretching purposefully. She had been doing yoga since she was thirteen, and even used it with meditation as one of her therapy techniques. She was no novice to the angles of her own body.
A few moments later, she was breathing deeply, eyes closed, her head tilted back. Her legs were folded in a complex weave, her arms over her head, palms facing in a very specific direction.
Peace. Love. Tranquility. Serenity. She chanted her mantra quietly to herself, inhaling and exhaling rhythmically, focusing on the breaths.
One of the orderlies, having seen her grimace at the warm water spewing from the fountain, went to fetch a cold bottle from the staff fridge in the gym's office... then as an afterthought got a second one for the patient working out on the punching bag. He took Faith hers, then walked over to where Weetzie was breathing deeply.
"Dr. Bat?" he asked quietly, not wanting to jar her. "Bottle of water for you," and he bent to set it beside her mat.
