"Angel?" Sam furrowed his brow, confusion spreading across his features like wildfire. "Hang on. Like...the guy? The one that's all...broody looking?" Ha, like Sam could talk. "He's not a threat. I don't - I don't think he's a threat. He really didn't scream run-of-the-mill, gonna eat your face off vampire to me, sorry." Which was saying something, considering that Sam was pretty wary of most everyone. Angel wasn't one of the bad guys. At least, Angel hadn't given Sam reason to believe that he was. At the most, the "vampire" had offered to help Sam escape Cheshire. That wasn't bad. In fact, that was probably one of the most decent things anyone in this place had offered to help him with since he had gotten here. Sam thought that he was an all right guy, vampire issue aside. Sam didn't see why anyone would want to kill him off...unless there was more to the story than Sam had realized.
Of course, that only made Sam think that there was a possibility that there was more to Angel than he had thought. But then the fact that Angel hadn't actually hurt anyone since his arrival was also something to take into consideration...
"I don't think that you should kill him," Sam said, arms folding over his chest, "he hasn't hurt anyone." Sam wanted to just let her go. But now there was a life involved and he wasn't interested in finding out that something had happened to Angel. Not something that he could have stopped. "I got holy water 'cause I need it. That's all you need to know. Now you're gonna tell me why you're chasing after Angel - vampire issues aside - otherwise I'm taking that holy water back and you're gonna have to fend for yourself from here on out."
