J.D. and OPEN Grabbing a snack The cafeteria Monday TBD
Having been a Cheshire for only a few days, J.D. hadn't made very many friends. Of course, he hadn't had much time what with orientation and training. They had kept him busy, that was for sure. Still J.D. couldn't help feeling lonely. He was use to Turk, Carla, Elliot and even the Todd always around. Even if Dr. Cox was here he still felt alone for the first time in a long time. He had been sitting in his office, charting, when he got the urge to get something to eat. He hadn't had very much that day and since he wasn't very busy he got up. Dressed in cornflower scrubs, J.D. strolled out of his office. Cheshire wasn't like Sacred Heart, it didn't have the same impending urgency feeling that the old familiar hospital did. J.D. liked that.
Checking the time, lunch was in five minutes. If he hurried he could grab some. He walked towards the cafeteria, calm and sober. Pulling out his cell phone he checked it for messages (none) and sighed inwardly. He hadn't heard much from California since his departure and if he said that didn't bother him he'd be lying. Standing outside the cafeteria door he checked his reflection in the glass window. He had light dark circles under his eyes and that was because the people in the motel room next him liked to argue all night. Pushing open the door he looked around for a snack.
