Welcome to the brand-spanking-new Superheroes fan asylum, for your fic, icon, themes, art, memes, gossip, and all around fandom needs!
I'm your spacey and inexperianced admin, ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) smgriffin, and I host the DC half of the Superhero fandom. My lovely assistant,bridgetmkennitt is the girl with all the brains around here and the Marvel guru. That means all you independent comic fans have to fend for yourselves with rocks and sharpened sticks. *grins*
We have a few basic rules to follow, probably similar to most other fansites you're used to.

Capes, Cowls, and Coloring Books is an asylum open to any comic fanworks. This includes DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse, and any other publishing companies. The most common works are fanfiction, though Fanart and Icons are more than welcome.
Basic Rules:
1. It is necessary all members be respectful of others.
2. Both slash and het will be accepted, as well as adult material. As such, ALL art and fics, regardless of rating, should be fake-cut back to the author/artist's own journal. It also saves people's friends list from bombardment.
3. Fandom wars will not be allowed. Everyone has a preferance, be it Marvel or DC, Batman or Superman, or OTPings. If you don't like it, don't look at it
4. Movieverse, comicverse, cartoonverse, and any verse in between is accepted at </a></font></b></a>![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) spandexunited.
