Who: Bella and Edward Where: The hallways of the Enterprise When: Mid-afternoon Rating: can't be more than PG Status: In progress
Bella wore her eyelit lace blouse and brown jeans as a farewell gesture for her mother. She tried to focus and not get annoyed with the having to explain that she does indeed want to move to Forks of her own free will. True a piece of it is a lie but she would never admit that to her mother. Bella knew that by her leaving it was the only chance Renee had at being with Phil and being truly happy.
A parka was her carry-on. She didn't have much in it besides a change of clothes in case her suitcase got lost during the lay-away and a few things to kill the time on the plane ride. She hugged her mother and breathed in that lilac scent of hers for the last time--at least until maybe the middle of summer vacation--and boarded the plane, waving goodbye until she could no longer see her mother.
Because she was paying close attention to her mother and focusing on the wet green land that was in store for her, Bella did not realize when the plane she stepped onto was actually not a plane at all. She looked down the vast hallway and a nervous knot in her stomach began to form. She tried to look behind her the way she came but the tunnel was no longer there. The tarmack was no longer there. Her mother was no longer there. All that was behind her was another hallway leading to more doors.
