The shop is wrecked. The glass counters smashed, things knocked over. The front door's busted open, as is the door leading to the back room. There are booted footsteps in the ground, mostly black, some tinged with a pink powder that must have come from the broken jar that's gently leaking some kind of pink gas or smoke or something. Lee is nowhere to be found.
“I told you, they took her. All these SWAT guys or whatever.”
He yanks his coat on further and makes his way towards the front door. “I gotta find Cess.” Not that he's not worried about Lee, who's only ever been nice to him, one of the few people in the district who aren't afraid of him, but they're Ginsberg's problem, there's nothing Kevin can do about that.
