She's bored, is what she is. Not of him, but of her situation. She finds ways to pass the time but she's not suited for housewifery, which is what she more and more finds herself listing into, too ill to work consistently and too lucid to be content to lie in bed and sleep. She keeps turning the television on and off, frustrated. It would be different if they had kids, maybe, or were planning on some, but she can't have any. And Michael is married to his job, not that she's ever held that against him, but the long nights where he never leaves the office because he's so wrapped up in what he's doing are hard on her, because she can't be like that. Nights like this she looks forward to all month.
