“I try really hard.” He's noticed the wide variety of potions and goops that are slowly overtaking the bathroom. And after spending months sleeping in bus stops, they shower two or three times in a day.
His breath is really hot, but it feels nice, they're pretty tense and the heat is relaxing. It might be nice if he took his shirt off — they're always curious what his body must look like, they don't see a lot of it despite living together — but that might take them in a direction they're not sure they can handle yet. They think about suggesting they move into the bedroom but that, too, might send a certain message. It's important he knows some stuff, though — “I want to go to a lot of places.” Their hand trails across his head to the back of his neck, where they start teasing at the thin, sensitive hairs there. “But I am glad I am here, too. It's been a long time since I had a home.”
