Michael doesn’t know what Harlow’s monkeys are, but all of that sounds awful. Just listening to it is making him more anxious by the second. Wolfgang always looks tired and slightly ill, and he has to wonder if it’s because of the sickness or the treatment. He’s always wondered that about medicine. Who knows what they put in that stuff. He doesn’t want to doubt what Wolfgang’s saying, though. They’re telling him important things.
“You need to charge more for these dream things so you can buy better food, then,” he says with a serious expression. “You put tons of work into them anyway. The medicine probably costs a lot too, right? I’ve never had to take any but Pop does, and his insurance is terrible. I know you hate making people pay for stuff, but they should pay for it, and they will.”
