Wolfgang opens their mouth, then closes it. They repeat this one or two more times. They had been so sure... It's so obvious to them, even the doctor — who is the nicest, most patient, most understanding person Wolfgang has ever met — raised an eyebrow when he saw. Most people would outright laugh, or try hard not to say anything while their face gave away everything.
They forgot Michael isn't most people.
They duck their head, hair falling in front of their face again. The darkness recedes a bit — it's not over-bright, but the cloud lights up again, brushing back a wide swath of shadow like a curtain.
