Michael bites his lip. People at work talk about bad dates they’ve been on where whoever they were with ‘didn’t even know how to kiss,’ as though without such a basic skill, someone is worthless as more than a friend. He was pretty sure not knowing how would be something he should mention, in case Wolfgang thought so, too. But they only commiserate in response, and that’s what finally reassures Michael enough to decide the experiment is worth it.
