Michael takes the mirror, looks at himself in it, turns his head to check different angles. As far as he can tell, it worked. His eyes look a normal dark hazel-brown. No reflective glowing or weird pupil sizes no matter how the light hits them. A casual observer might not notice, but up close it seems much more natural than the contacts did. It’s his real eye color, and it fakes the way normal people’s pupils work perfectly.
“I don’t think anyone at work does magic, and if they do, I don’t think they’d give a shit about me. And I don’t wanna change my vision. I just need to keep my job.”
He refocuses on Wolfgang, putting the mirror down on the counter and looking at them seriously. “This is amazing. You’re amazing.”
