Michael’s eyebrows furrow together skeptically. He sees why the idea would be an attractive one. It would mean they weren’t crazy—that they were saner, even, than everyone else. But since leaving Morris, he’s had to come to terms with the fact that there is something very wrong with his mind. This thought of Lee’s is tempting enough for him to realize it’s regressive.
