I had a pretty big decision to make. Hadn't made up my mind but I needed to. And soon.

It's not ideal but if the threat they mention is real then it affects us all. And it would seem there's no way out according to our liasons.

Two options presented themselves to end a war. Both would have consequences. I had to figure out which had the least devastating.

A Reaper is essentially "billions of organic minds, uploaded and conjoined within immortal machine bodies. All of which are hellbent on purging the universe of organic life.

The Mind Flayer, most recently. Demidogs and a Demigorgon before that.

That's some seriously fucked up big bad. Sounds a bit like the Mind Flayer. It absorbed people. Turned them to goo, or some shit.
