Kaira rolled her shoulders, thankful to be relieved of her burden for the final time that day. Now she could relax, at least to an extent. In a far better mood than earlier, she followed Jade around, paying close attention and recognizing already that she was going to get lost several times before she learned her way around. Hopefully everyone she ran into would be as polite as Jade.
She especially made note of where to take self-defense courses. That would undoubtedly come in handy. She could handle herself well enough, she supposed, but she would come up lacking if she faced more than one opponent, or anyone of significant skill. Survival was important, and it was one more thing to fill up her day.
"No questions that I can think of." Jade had been very thorough, something Kaira was thankful for. Her eyes grew cold. "Unless you can teach me how to most efficiently kill vampires and lycans." Wide-scale revenge was empty, but it was all she had.
