Kaira froze, staring at Jade with wide eyes until she realized the woman was not intending to strip. That would have been incomprehensibly awkward. She still felt uncomfortable leering at another woman's body in such a manner - she was fond of the female form, but openly ogling was inappropriate. "...those scars are the only evidence?" This doctor was truly amazing, if that were the case. Jade had only been improved, though Kaira did not wish to pry and inquire what had instigated the surgery in the first place. Had it been elected, or a last ditch effort to save her life?
Either way, it was none of her business unless Jade made it so.
"...in a world with vampires and lycans, what's an odd-colored limb or two? Zombies, on the other hand..." Kaira frowned. "Or well, that's the mental image I am getting. I will not be going out of my way to encounter them. Thank you for the warning." Shaking her head, she picked up her pace a little, still not wanting to feel like a child or as if she were holding Jade back. "Why does he bring back the dead in any case?"
Though Kaira had been raised half-heartedly Catholic and did not remember much of the Church's teaching, something about manipulating dead flesh didn't sit well with her. It showed a lack of respect she would never want happening to her corpse.
"Are they...useful in some way that the living are not?"
