Sunday - Afternoon
Who: Theo and Briar What: Her training at the Karyukai When: Sunday afternoon Where: Karyukai Tea House Rating: PG Status: Active
Rousing this morning was a bit easier than it had been for the last few days, after Prince Valerian's visit, and Maiha's disposition had been more solemn, saddened than before. The day had to bring something that Theo could wrap his mind around. Work. Saying his morning's to the young children he and Maiha had found in the outlands, kissing Celeste's forehead and brushing out her hair, tying a ribbon into it and reclothing her in a pretty pink satin dress, he called for Malachai, and reclothed him as well, brushing out those sunlit locks, so soft and gentle, a single harder movement and Theo could have broken them. But, he didn't, and wouldn't. He had softened so much being here, and everything he knew before he came to Vegas was almost like a dingy memory.
Remembering that the young lycan named Briar would be coming, one that Maiha had found while on a usual walk, she was to begin at the Karyukai as an employee. Smiling in the thought, he raised from the bed finally, and dressed in a winter kimono. An electric blue at the bottom that faded at the knees and up into white, silver embroidery of leaves along the bottom of the sleeves and bottom of the kimono itself, a white yukatta laid under the craftmanship of silk. Powdering his face lightly, and only a tint of blue was placed on his eyelids and lips, and a delicate black lining around his eyes gave him a soft cold expression.
A new face in the Tea House, especially a young wolf girl, would make for interesting customers, and quite lucrative, so Theo had begun thinking while stepping from their bedroom and sliding his feet into thin white slippers, his hair left down but for the center in the back, pulled up and into a swirling mass of midnight hair, and down his back on top of the loose strands. Theo was appearing to be more delicate these days, and his temper had all but slid away. Funny what love does to a vampire. Stepping into the receiving room, all of the slaves, dressed in white or blue yukattas had come as Theo called for them mentally, each one awaiting their orders.
"You are all to welcome Ms. Briar as she enters, and make our finest jasmine tea for her. Please be sure to set out fruits of various kinds for her to indulge in as I speak with her. I want to get to know her first before I train her." All had scattered immediately, gathering what Theo had requested, and setting it up in the first room on the right, Theo sitting on his knees and waiting patiently for this wolf girl that had interested his lover so much.
