Monday Who: Jill and Laden When: Around 11 AM Where: An Art Supply Store What: Jill needs some supplies, and Laden stops by? Rating: PG (to be safe) Status: Incomplete
Jillian awoke that morning all intent on getting some things done with her art after her chores. Once she was finished with what few things she had to do that morning, she went into her personally 'claimed' art room. Flipping on the light she sat down at her chair, and pulled out a piece of paper and a pencil. After an hour of steady drawing she leaned back with her tongue sticking out of the side of her mouth a bit and eyed her latest work.
Now, all the little snowshoe rabbit needed was a bit of color. She'd seen the picture in a book, and had decided that it was next on her list of things she needed to draw. Leaning back in her chair she let out a sigh and stretched out her muscles. There was a light knock to the door, and she glanced over with a smile as one of the lady ghouls entered and asked if she'd like anything to eat. She nodded, and ordered a light breakfast before returning to her work. Standing she moved over to the small plastic container that held all of her art supplies.
Blonde brows knitted and she pursed her lips after she'd opened it. Jillian canted her head to the side, and began digging through her supplies of colored chalk, inks, markers, and paints. The only thing missing was her colored pencils. Putting the lid back on she thought for a moment. Where was the last place that she'd had them?
She tapped her index finger against her bottom lip, and then let out a long sigh. She'd actually used them up the last time she'd sat down and drew out a sketch. They had been worn down to small little nubs that hurt her fingers as she colored in the lines. With a sigh and a pout she plopped down in her chair and stared at her drawing. She could just use the chalk but she'd wanted to use pencils.
The door opened and the ghoul stepped in with a tray of breakfast for the young woman. She thanked her with a smile and picked up a piece of toast. As she munched she remembered where the art supply store was, and she was pretty sure that Lucian had told her that anything she needed all she had to do was flash his tags and it would be hers without paying anything.
With her mood a little lighter she quickly downed her breakfast, and hurried back to the room to dress in a pair of jeans, and a t-shirt. She pulled a soft sweater over her head, and after smoothing down her hair she finished getting ready for her time out. Slipping her arms into her jacket, she zipped it up and pulled her tags out to make sure that they were visible at all times. Tugging her beanie over her head she reached into her pockets and let out a small 'ah-ha!' when her fingers found her gloves.
Exiting the room she put them on her delicate hands and started out of the hotel. She never really ventured far from the safety of the compound, but she knew that the supply shop wasn't too far away. For that she was thankful. Stepping in her heart broke a little as she looked over all the fine things there, and then she felt deep happiness as she walked around and looked. As she was looking at the colored pencils, trying to decide what box she should buy she heard the light tinkling over the door that announced another customer. She glanced up, head canting to the side at the sight of a handsome man who held himself with such confidence.
