It was really cute, and endearing, the way Atti talked about the hyena. Jo could tell that he was really taken with him.. her.. whatever. "Both? Really? Interesting." And it was. She wasn't aware that hyenas were hermaphrodites. She'd seen hyenas on the television when she'd been much younger, but she didn't remember much more than their hunting tactics and that lions were their natural enemies. "I see. Well, I'm sure you'll see him again." She smiled knowingly at him.
She laughed as he declined her offer to let him go join the trio of lycans. "I guess I can imagine. I've never really experienced that myself." She was kind of a one woman gal. She wasn't too interested in worrying about more than one person at a time. One was hard enough. Seemed that more wouldn't quite get the attention they needed... like a couple having too many children.
Jo only smiled at the confused expression on his face as he seemed to realize he was no longer filtering things a sober person might. She lifted another shoulder. "They're pretty scary. I don't exactly look forward to my meetings with them. Just be cautious, that's all the advice I have with regards to them." She gave him a tight smile, recalling a meeting they'd had when Lucian had lit another vampire on fire and turned him to a pile of ashes. It hadn't been pretty.
"So... have you been to see the Chancellor? What are your plans now that you've arrived?" She put emphasis on the last word, as if it meant more than it really did.
