Who: Adam, Murdoch, Chuck. (posting order) What: Trouble in paradise, revisited. When: Evening. Where: Hoover Dam. Rating: PG-13. Status: Complete. Adam had a lot on his mind lately. It felt like there was so much he had to do, so many people he had to catch up with, and there just wasn't enough time to conceivably do it all. Having his legs back, his life back, was a very incredible thing, and he wasn't yet to the point where he felt like things had returned to status quo. After his training session with Cormac, especially, he had something on his mind. Something very specific. Something there was usually one girl at the Dam that he could count on to help with. He knew from speaking to others that she and the big Brit had a thing, but Adam couldn't really take it too seriously, not after knowing Chuck for so long. It was Chuck after all, even her steady lay's were just a passing phase.
So he waited until after dinner, and when the Brit didn't immediately make himself available, he moved in, poking his head into the kitchen, a hint of a grin already on his face. It had been a long while for Adam, and longer still since he'd been with Chuck in the first place. Adam hadn't popped too many cherries in his day, but Chuck's had been pretty sweet. Their age difference had gotten him a bit of stink-eye from his sister, which he felt was well-earned, but Chuck was all grown up now. She wasn't exactly his style, but Chuck was a very eager woman, and that more than made up for it.
"Hey you," he said, coming to lean on the counter next to her, "Haven't had a chance to catch up with you since I got put back into action," Adam slapped his thighs and grinned, "How's things?"
