Oh god, he was going to die. He just knew it. In fact, he could already see his life flashing before his eyes. Today was going to be the day. Kyu-Sik wasn't entirely sure what to do in this situation. He wasn't close enough to the city to call for help from his father, mother, or sister. He knew absolutely no one at the picnic other than the two odd radio co-hosts that his sister worked with. He could try to drive home himself, but he didn't really think that'd be much better than letting someone inexperienced drive his car.
His options were limited to leaving his life in Donovan's hands or sitting around in his car for however long it took for his stomach to stop battling whatever was left inside of it. Against his better judgement, he decided to give this experiment a mile or two before he shut it down or just let it happen. "Okay. This will be fine," he lied mainly for himself. Kyu-Sik took a deep breath and double-checked the gear shift. The car was once again moving… just not quite at the speed he was hoping for. He nearly gripped his seat when he saw them heading for a tree. Thankfully Donovan managed to correct it.
"Be careful not to overcorrect. And not too fast. A little goes a long way with the steering wheel."
