"Nine-hundred a month," he answered flatly. She looked for confused for a moment even though she did not question his statement. Perhaps she didn't remember him then? He would figure that out as well in due time. Since she was still curious about the apartment he stepped back and held the door open. The whole apartment was fairly unkept. Or rather it was lazily kept and piled with weird artifacts, books, and other clutter. The sign of a man with too many interests and hobbies that drifted in and out of his mind.
One motion of his arm and she was invited in nonetheless. If she couldn't handle how it looked currently then it was already not meant to be. "If that's not too much, you're welcome to take a look. I'll show you the room."
