Slowly turning her head toward the source of the noise, Mabel pulled out her gun but kept it down at her side, calmly releasing the safety. There was definitely something there that she couldn't ignore, and judging by the shadow she could spot at the end of the aisle where the sound originated, it certainly wasn't friendly pet-sized.
Faintly smirking with anticipation, Mabel limped back up the aisle to chase down whatever was waiting for her. Walking on her twisted ankle wasn't pleasant and drew out another grunt of pain, but she wasn't going to allow a minor injury to bring her down. After eating, though, she'd have to go visit the pharmacy area for some aspirin or hope for some sort of ice pack. At least she had slept late into the afternoon, because she could already tell this was going to be a late night.
