"No, you won't." He didn't give her any chance to walk much further. He pulled her back again and sat her in front of him on the bed. He hadn't got his answers yet and this explanation wasn't exactly looking bright. He didn't like not getting vague responses, especially from a person he had just found sleeping under his bed. Not that it happened more than... well, ever.
Michel had remembered hearing something about Dorian a bit ago, but at the time he had cut the person he was talking to off and hurried on his way. He had nothing against the man personally, but he had wanted to block out all associations with her. Now that she was saying she had nowhere to go, he wondered if the news had been something important. "What about Dorian's? I thought you were staying there. Did he finally throw you out?" That was one way to figure out what he wanted to know.
